Sony FE 200-600mm f/5.6-6.3 G OSS Lens

The Sony FE 200-600mm f/5.6-6.3 G OSS is a full-frame super-telephoto zoom lens introduced in 2019, designed for Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras. It features a focal length range of 200-600mm with a variable aperture of f/5.6 at the short end and f/6.3 at the long end. The lens consists of 24 elements in 17 groups, with 11 rounded aperture blades for smooth bokeh. It supports a minimum focus distance of about 2.4 meters (7.88 feet) and a maximum magnification ratio of 0.2x.

The lens is equipped with Optical SteadyShot image stabilization and uses a DDSSM (Direct Drive Super Sonic Wave Motor) autofocus motor with full-time manual focus capability. It has weather sealing and a 95mm filter thread. The physical dimensions are approximately 115.5 x 318 mm, with an actual weight around 2120 grams (about 74.8 oz). The lens does not extend or rotate its front element during focusing or zooming, and has internal zoom and focus mechanisms.

It is compatible with Sony 1.4x and 2.0x teleconverters, extending the effective focal length to 840mm and 1200mm respectively.
