Installation Tips – It depends on what type of backdrop you’ll use:
A backdrop roll and a center rod are not included.
Installation Tips: For Paper Backdrop Roll with Center Rod – Directly slot the paper backdrop into the expansion rod; For Muslin or Canvas Backdrop Without Center Rod – You’ll need to get a center rod (e.g. 2 inches PVC pipe) and attach it to the expansion rod and roll the backdrop onto the pipe. (You can use water PVC pipe available in hardware shops, and cut it to any length to ensure the tube is longer than the width of the backdrop.)

The Backdrop Support Kit is a sturdy, secure way of hanging cloth backgrounds or seamless paper rolls weighing up to 17kg. The kit comes with two stands and a telescoping crossbar. The stands have a maximum height of 2.8m – enough to give you headroom for low-angle shooting. Their minimum height is 4.5′. The crossbar telescopes from 4.8 to 12.9′ – more than enough to handle rolls of seamless paper and canvas backdrops. Reversible spigots with 1/4″ and 3/8″ mounting posts are included, allowing you to use the stands with other gear when not using the crossbar. It all fits in a provided deluxe padded case.
