The Canon EOS R8 Mark II Mirrorless Camera combines full-frame image quality with a compact, travel-friendly design and the added benefit of in-body image stabilisation. Its 24.2MP full-frame CMOS sensor and DIGIC X processor deliver detailed photographs, natural background separation and strong high-ISO performance, making it suitable for portraits, travel, events, street photography and everyday creative work.

A major upgrade over the original EOS R8 is the addition of 5-axis IBIS, providing up to 7.5 stops of coordinated shake correction at the image centre with compatible lenses. The camera also introduces a Multi-controller joystick and improved ergonomics for more direct control while shooting.

For fast-moving subjects, Dual Pixel CMOS AF II provides 100% frame coverage with recognition and tracking for people, animals and vehicles. The electronic shutter can shoot at up to 40fps, while pre-continuous shooting can capture up to 20 frames before the shutter is fully pressed.

Videographers can record uncropped 4K 60p video oversampled from 6K, Full HD at up to 180p, and use Canon Log 3 for advanced colour grading. With RF-mount compatibility, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3 and USB-C connectivity, the EOS R8 Mark II is built for modern hybrid photography and video workflows.
