Nikon NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/4 S Lens

Product Description

The Nikon NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/4 S Lens is a versatile full-frame standard zoom designed for photographers and videographers who need one compact lens for landscapes, travel, portraits, events, street photography, and everyday shooting. Its 24-70mm focal range covers useful wide-angle through short-telephoto perspectives, while the constant f/4 maximum aperture keeps exposure and depth-of-field control consistent throughout the zoom range.

As an S-Line lens, it combines a 14-element, 11-group optical construction with one aspherical ED element, one ED element, and three aspherical elements. Nikon’s Nano Crystal Coat helps reduce flare and ghosting, while the fluorine-coated front element improves resistance to dirt and fingerprints.

The lens focuses as close as 0.3m throughout the zoom range and achieves a maximum reproduction ratio of 0.3x at 70mm, giving photographers useful flexibility for closer subjects and detail shots. Its seven-blade rounded diaphragm contributes to smooth background rendering.

For video creators, the stepping motor provides quiet, responsive autofocus, while Nikon has designed the lens with focus-breathing compensation and minimized operating noise in mind. At approximately 500g, it also provides a practical balance between optical performance and portability.
