The lens features a 12-element, 9-group optical design incorporating two aspherical elements, four ED elements, and two high-refractive elements. Viltrox’s multi-layer coating helps reduce glare and ghosting, while the optical design is engineered for detailed ultra-wide imagery with controlled chromatic aberration and distortion.

At just approximately 185g, the Air-series lens is easy to carry for travel and everyday shooting. Its 0.13m minimum focusing distance and 0.23x maximum magnification also allow photographers to place subjects close to the foreground for dramatic wide-angle compositions.
